We need you! International Economic Summit events rely greatly on volunteers to ensure a positive experience for students and teachers. Real-life simulations require bankers, scorekeepers, facilitators, and more to create a realistic and fun event! Gather your friends or co-workers and join us for an exciting day of trade and fun!
Become a Volunteer
Volunteer Roles Needed:
- Banker – Work with a small group of student teams at a summit as their banker! Volunteer bankers score student activities, and more importantly, provide banking services to student teams during the Trade and Banking Session. You’ll get a program guide and instructions ahead of time to make sure you’re ready to help students meet their banking goals at the summit!
- Scorekeeper – Work with a small group of student teams at a summit as their scorekeeper! Volunteer scorekeepers score student activities, help teams for trade alliances, and more. You’ll get a program guide and instructions ahead of time to make sure you’re ready for each activity at the summit event!
- Team USA – Participate in a summit event as a representative of Team USA! Volunteers act as Team USA in many of the summit activities, including the most popular, and fun, event – the Trade and Banking Session. You will interact with student teams to make deals and import and export goods and services.
- Summit Set-up – Help us get ready to welcome hundreds of students to a Regional Summit! Set-up volunteers can assist ICEE staff prior to a summit event, prepping student materials, setting up banker and scorekeeper stations, and more.
Summit events generally run from 9 am-2:30 pm, and volunteers are asked to attend for the entire summit event. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
